i have a love-hate relationship with Room 15! D:
which is also known as the Triage Room.

total number of triage cases seen today: 34
-.-
never in my 6 months here have i triaged so many patients in a day.

the scariest thing,
600 plus going on 700 patients seen at the acute cluster today.
OMG.
noise level was comparable to a crowded wet market.

i wonder if it's the weather that is causing the rise in SOB patients.

worst Monday so far.
they come and see Dr like there's no tomorrow.

finally started working in the treatment room officially :D
i've actually been waiting for this to happen for quite some time already.
and it's finally my turn! *muahahahaha*
unfortunately (okay, maybe a little bit of 'fortunately'), i'm working with him :/
he's gonna be my mentor for the next 3 months!!! D:
well, it's undeniable that he could be the best person to teach me all about triaging of patients and handling of emergency cases because he was from A&E, but he is also my most-disliked colleague. his behavior towards me had changed ever since the previous incident and i can't help but feel that he is behaving rather hypocritically at times.
it's okay, i guess i'll be fine.
Eric taught me how to deal with him when the need arises ;)

oh, a few of my colleagues have resigned recently :/
this means we will be busier when they leave the clinic officially (boohoo)
i have some personal opinion though, perhaps leech will agree with me.
if this was not your ideal working environment, why choose to come here in the first place?
on the surface you come to work everyday happily but you search for other jobs under the table like you can't wait to leave this place.
you said it was very tough to apply for leave here, but the situation out there are not any better either.
and the most ridiculous thing of all - you just completed your degree and yet you say you have lost interest in Nursing and your focus is no longer here.
i do sympathize with what you went through during that period of time, but seriously, if she allowed you to apply for leave as and when you like, what will the rest of the staff think?
RAWR. enough about unhappy stuff. let's talk about happy stuff now.

with a new 2 year plan to go with it.

I WENT BACK TO CORPS ON WEDNESDAY!
took a cab to Lot 1 with evania & wanqing until we were all having some motion sickness.
had dinner at pizzahut :D

2011 shall be a year full of happiness, joy and love.
more quality time with loved ones and myself.
i will live everyday in 2011 like it's my birthday everyday! :D
