had zone meeting at HQ today! (:
when i stepped into HQ, it was already 8.45am. but the whole building was like, unusually quiet.
the lights of the corridors on both levels were off and it was kind of scary. luckily shusian mam came shortly after i arrived. haha xD

zone meeting.
umi mam, nora mam and encik arif were the only 'old birds' there.
perhaps shusian mam should be considered as one of them too. wahahaha >.<
ohoh, and the dates of the various events were confirmed.
and we're going to have zone meetings every month?
we're planning zone outing too. (:

lunched at marina square's food court with everyone who was at the meeting.
saw ms yeo. so elyas and i went to approach her (it took me awhile to persuade elyas to go with me. haha xD). yufeng joined us when he came back from the washroom.
ms yeo actually remembers us! especially elyas. haha :P

after that, went to marina barrage with umi mam, nora mam, encik arif and yufeng.
it's our first time there and we were quite excited about it. :D
and it was really a nice place la! with huge green fields and the scenery is nice (to be honest, only the parts facing the sea and singapore flyer are nice. cos the rest are like IR construction sites? xD).
oh, the restaurant from 7th Storey Hotel has relocated to marina barrage too (: and they offer buffets. heh.
we were thinking of holding our Zone D&D at the marina barrage. heh. but there are pros and cons la. see how again ba. (:
nora mam went home after that and the rest of us when to search for more places that we can hold our D&D.

we went to esplanade to look for their information counter. in the end, we were asked whether we want to watch a live performance by our very own SAF Central Band. and yup, we went and i never regretted going for it. their performance was fabulous can. their instructor was very entertaining. the 4 of us enjoyed ourselves alot la. too bad we only managed to listen to part of the performance. it started at 3pm but we went in at around 3 plus and the performance ended at 4pm. how i wished we were there earlier ):

our next destination was suntec convention centre.
asked whatever we wanted to know and we started on our quest for PPC.
it took us quite a long while to find the shop cos it was not very prominent.
but their PPC was nice :D

umi mam and encik arif took 857 home after that while yufeng and i went to marina square.
bus-ed home alone and i slept throughout the whole journey. heh.

alright, tomorrow's the start of my one month attachment.
am not getting paid this time round cos it's not my holiday yet ):
but it's okay. what i'm going to learn is definitely more important and valuable. (:
